The Pet Orphanage is a non-profit animal welfare organization based in Logan, OH, in the beautiful Hocking Hills. We promote reducing pet overpopulation by sponsoring cat and dog spay/neuter clinics, administering spay/neuter grants and through education. The Pet Orphanage has also established an outreach fund which assists owners with emergency veterinary medical expenses.
Despite our name, we do not have a pet shelter.

Support pets by buying an Ohio Pet License plate They’re vehicle registration tags that raise funds for education, spay and neuter of pets for low-income families, and for dogs and cats adopted from qualifying agencies. The Pet Orphanage was awarded grants from this fund in 2009-2013 and 2015 -2023. And they’re offering some super cute tags! Check them out at https://ohiopetfund.org/.
